Many visitors find that the summer season is the best time to stay in Lodz, when the climate is at its most inviting, with plenty of sunshine and low humidity. However, despite the abundance of blue skies and sunny weather, summers in Lodz go generally see higher levels of precipitation than any other time of the year. Don't be overly concerned about this though, since it is unusual that these infrequent heavy spells of rainfall last too long and spoil an entire day.

It is also not unheard of for the summer climate to run well into September and these late summers are another great time to visit Lodz, when the city is fairly quiet after the busiest months of July and August, and all of the attractions are still open. However, in September and October, do bring a warm jumper and jacket, since the evenings are beginning to get decidedly chilly at this time of the year, with night-time temperatures averaging anywhere between 8°C / 46°F and 5°C / 41°F.
